The prices of tourism services in Sa Pa District in
the northern province of Lao Cai were made public in late July, under an
instruction from the district''s People''s Committee. The aim was to
discourage overcharging of tourists in the popular, world-famous
destination.
Karaoke parlours in HCM City are set be bunched
together in designated streets, and authorities will not issue licences
for opening them anywhere else, a senior culture official has said.
Aspiring singers are being offered a chance to
showcase their talents on the world stage, after it was announced that
Viet Nam would debut at the Karaoke World Championships 2012 in Finland
this December.
